Scholarships Offered to Students of Software Testing and Development as Part of LogiGear Vietnam and HCMC University of Science Joint Program

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — November 13, 2009 — LogiGear Corporation ( http://www.logigear.com ), Vietnam ’s leading software testing company, today announced the availability of three scholarships to students of the LogiGear Certified Test Professional (LCTP) program at the HCMC University of Science. Each scholarship will offer a 50% reduction in tuition costs to enrolled students who achieve the highest scores on the program’s entrance exam. The next session of the LCTP program begins November 22, 2009.

The upcoming session which begins November 22, 2009 at the HCMC University of Science includes the following two courses, which are the first of many planned offerings. LCTP I: BASIC SOFTWARE TESTING SKILLS - An introduction to systematic black box software testing , this course develop s practical testing and test result reporting skills, improv ing effectiveness. Learn techniques and logic used day-to-day by successful companies.

LCTP II: NEW TEST ENGINEER SURVIVAL SKILLS – In this continuation of LCTP I, new test engineers will become familiar with the work environment for outsourced test teams, develop soft skills to practice software testing in the real world, and gain a basic understanding of test automation technology and its applications.
