On August 8, VNITO hosted a press conference aimed to market the biggest IT conference in Vietnam set to take place in October.
The conference, which took place on August 8th, gave attendees a taste of what’s to come in October. After welcoming coffee, Mr Lam Nguyen Hai Long, CEO of Quang Trung Software City, kicked off the press conference. His report on the 2015 VNITO conference was a hopeful foreshadowing of the next event to come.
The first Vietnam IT Outsourcing Conference was held with the participation of over 300 delegates from multi-national and high-tech companies and received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback.
LogiGear’s CEO, Hung Nguyen attended as one of the main speakers, sharing his insights on the demands and trends of U.S. market towards Vietnamese outsourcing companies. The panel later opened up the floor for questions and Hung participated in a panel discussion. The discussion was engaging as everyone discussed the development of IT Software in today’s market.
VNITO Conference 2017 will be the biggest Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) event.
It aims to demonstrate Vietnam’s software development capabilities and ability to provide IT services to other countries around the world, as well as promoting the image of Vietnam as an attractive destination for IT services, while expanding the search for clients and partners for domestic enterprises. It will further aid Vietnam in its efforts to create an effective business matching platform for buyers and Vietnamese IT outsourcing vendors.
Vietnam is ranked as one of the top six global technology transfer destinations in the Asian-Pacific. Hence, this year’s event would take the theme as “Vietnam – Asia Tier 1 Delivery Destination”.

The conference is set to have outstanding presentations, including overview reports on Vietnam’s ICT situation in recent time; potential of Vietnam in the areas of BigData, Cloud and IoT; and experiences in working with Vietnamese IT companies.
The conference is expected to attract around 500 delegates, including international consultants, IT professionals and investors from over 20 countries and territories. 250 top offshore software outsourcing companies in Vietnam and 20 IT universities will also be in attendance.
