What Is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, or Rich Site Summary, or RDF (Resource Description Framework) Site Summary. RSS files are text-based files, in XML format. An RSS file is simply a list of items, which consist of at least a title, summary, and a link (URL) to a web page. RSS files may also be referred to as RSS feeds or RSS channels. Web site publishers such as LogiGear use RSS feeds to distribute information such as articles or news releases. This makes it easier for interested individuals to obtain and read this information.
