Michael Hackett to Discuss Distributing and Outsourcing Testing in Agile Projects at ICGSE 2011

Michael Hackett, co-founder and Senior Vice President of LogiGear, will share his research in a technical session called “An Industry-based Examination of Distributing and Outsourcing Testing in Agile Projects” at the 6th annual IEEE International Conference on Global Software Engineering (ICGSE). The session will present solutions to distributing testing in agile projects Wednesday, August 17th at 1:30pm.

Mr. Hackett is co-author of the popular Testing Applications on the Web (Wiley, 2nd ed. 2003) and Global Software Test Automation: A Discussion of Software Testing for Executives (Happy About, 2006). At LogiGear, he leads the company’s consulting and training division, supporting quality process improvement and setting the standard in software testing education programs for many of the world’s leading software development organizations.

ICGSE 2011 is organized by IEEE, the world’s largest association for the advancement of technology. The conference will bring together researchers and practitioners interested in exploring how globally distributed teams work and how the challenges can be met. It also provides opportunities for researchers from across the globe to exchange and discuss scientific and engineering ideas at various stages of development.
