Business Analyst

The role of a Business Analyst is to engage with Product Management and various other stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, etc. to understand the business values that the organization is looking to deliver and translate those business values into functional requirements that can be delivered by the engineering teams.

Business Analysts bridge the gap between the business and the core technologists by possessing adequate technical knowledge. You must be able to effectively discuss difficult technical issues with R&D lab, software architects, developers and testers to ensure the delivery of good Automation solutions. You can expect continuous engagement with various function teams within both Service Delivery (SD) department and Enterprise Product Group (EPG). Therefore, you’ll need to possess good communication skills, both in speaking and writing.

Business Analyst works closely with Product Management & Delivery Leadership in LogiGear VN & LogiGear US to:

  • Identify gaps between current product & service offerings and the continuously rising needs from the market to help shape the roadmap of both products & services.
  • Understand business values and define detailed functional requirements in accordance to those business values.
  • Collect and write formal specifications and communicate those specifications with Product Management and engineering teams.
  • Identify business priorities and advise Product Management and other business stakeholders on the feasible solutions by collaborating with R&D lab, software architects, technical leads and QA Manager.
  • Collaborate across function teams to build new delivery capabilities and launch new services and/or product features.
  • Create marketing and sales support collaterals such as service offerings, data sheets, presentations, and technical articles, etc.
  • Work with delivery teams and customers to turn success stories into case studies and whitepapers.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information System or the equivalence.
  • Proficiency in writing user stories and system functional specifications.
  • Basic understanding of software architectures.
  • Basic understanding of Test Automation & Software Testing in general.
  • Basic understanding of at least one software delivery methodologies, ideally Scrum.
  • Ability to quickly learn and absorb new technologies.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Excellent English writing & speaking skills.
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).


  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in working with US clients.
  • Experience in blogging in English is a big plus.
