Marketing Communications Assistant

JOB SUMMARY

LogiGear, a leading provider in software testing services and development, is looking for a Marketing Communications Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong writer and editor, who is has a passion for creating compelling marketing content to help our global marketing efforts. This role also includes marketing assistant duties to help our marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drafting and Writing Copy (40%)
    • Will work to develop, draft and edit content for increased traffic/SEO rankings for LogiGear core service and product lines
    • Content includes: blog posts, case studies, articles, infographics, emails, datasheets, social media posts etc.
  • Editing (25%)
    • Responsible for editing/coordinating Quarterly Magazine (LogiGear Magazine)
    • Responsible for editing/assisting with editing other content created by marketing team members
  • Research/Reporting (25%)
    • Will work with marketing and product owners to identify key industry verticals and do research to be used in developing marketing strategy
    • Will work with SEO vendor to develop and create ongoing Content Calendar to keep eye on emerging trends and to monitor performance of content
  • Other job related areas (10%)
    • Assist marketing team with integrated marketing campaign development for product launches as needed
    • Some CRM duties including (email campaign creation, list segmentation, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a self-starter
  • Must be proficient, or willing to learn SEO fundamentals
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Solid editing and researching skills
  • Excellent communication abilities (oral and written)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is desired
  • B2B experience a plus
