Sales Representative

LogiGear, an industry leading provider of software testing services, test automation tools, QA training, and consulting, has an immediate opening for a Software Sales Representative. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who will work directly under a Senior Sales Professional to learn LogiGear’s business and to help grow our presence in the Southeast region. You will be responsible for servicing current and potential LogiGear customers in the Southeast.

This person will be responsible for the development of new business with an emphasis on developing and growing customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ experience in enterprise software outsourcing services and enterprise software sales, preferably with experience in selling outsourced software testing and/or software development services, and with software testing tools or with other software lifecycle products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiates and execute action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Provides timely feedback to regarding sales performance.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all customer proposals submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Must be an excellent communicator and able to create and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Flexible hours and schedules; including part time and work from home arrangements.
  • Maintains contact with clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact with the members of revenue team.

Position Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales/clients development and acquisition.
  • Experience with enterprise software development and testing solutions and large, complex organizations will be extremely beneficial.
  • A plus would be experience with software testing best practices and tools, and/or software development practices
  • Experience with DevOps is a plus
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed and flexibility to work with a global team of professionals.
  • A bachelor degree, preferably in computer science or technical fields

Location:

LogiGear’s Southeast region has offices in Houston, TX and Birmingham, AL and the ideal candidate would be able to spend time at either of those locations for training and technical support. This position will need to travel to meet with prospective clients in the Southeast and in California.
