LeapFrog Enterprises is a pioneer in fostering children’s curiosity and love of learning for over 20 years through award-winning products, combining educational expertise, technology, and engaging play.
LeapFrog encountered challenges with in-house testing costs, global testing complexities, and the need to improve operational efficiency. Partnering with LogiGear empowered the team to address issues and transform their testing approach.
LogiGear developed a custom plan for growth, training, and execution to support LeapFrog’s strategy. The team size ranged from 10 – 20 members, with variations based on the specific requests and needs of the Leapfrog team. There was flexible periodic use of 4 automation service resources.
LogiGear formulated test plans, wrote test cases (both manual and automated tests) and maintained a fully accessible defect database.
Then, LogiGear employed Action Based Testing™ (ABT) methodology for device and database testing.
Provided QA training on testing methods such as ABT, continued to assist them with resource planning, and tracked efforts expended on each product line.
LeapFrog utilized LogiGear’s software testing expertise. With LogiGear’s support, LeapFrog created, automated, and executed tests for over 150 different products.
LogiGear helped LeapFrog reduce costs by 30%, opened up the QA staff to work on other projects and eliminate seasonal hiring and set record rollout of product releases.
